ACTASF Cheat Sheet

Post by LimeyDragon »

I made this cheat sheet for ACTA:SF a long time ago. Not sure if the information is correct still or not.

If you do find things wrong let me know.

James: The information presented is still valid (and i have 16 laminated copies of this sheet in my ACTASF play box), but it only runs through Book 1.2

The new weapons / traits / Special Actions from Book 2 (and those included in Reinforcements 1) are not included on it.
And unfortunately, Book 3 is going to be adding even more weapons / traits / and Special Actions.

I'd love to see an updated version, but its eventually going to reach 4 pages!

I could do one Cheat Sheet per faction.
Or just put all weapon related information on one page. May have to play around with it.

One per empire would be a lot of redundancy, I think.
If you want to keep it to a single two sided page, I'd suggest dropping the Critical Hit chart completely.
That can be done separately and would likely free enough room for Book 2, R1, and maybe even Book 3 updates.

You're going to be adding:
Half a dozen Special Actions
Several additions to the Turn Sequence (including a whole new phase with Book 3)
Additional Special Ship Traits
More Weapon Traits
More Weapons!

I would lose the logos at the top. That will save a lot of space for you.

I also agree that the criticals could be removed to make space for all the additional material you are going to need to add.

James and Tony,
The cheat sheet is perfect as is for ACTASF demos/teaching newbies. Of course as new books come out it is going to get big. (The ones for BattleTech come in four packs each devoted to a separate wide topic of modifiers and charts.)

A point of order Jean beat me over the head with.. It's currently "ACTASF", no colon between the ACTA and the SF. *grin*

I didn't even notice that.
I remember when Mongoose was using the colon, but I never even notice it was still there...

And James, before you make the same mistake I did...
I notice that Multi-Hit is hyphenated - Good.
I removed the hypen on one of my sheets to make the text fit. Ooops.
Let's just say, "I won't do that again!"
