A sad announcement..

Post by Albiegamer »

The book is progressing nicely and all of you are fantastic.

Unfortunately, Jean and I have a family member with their current medical situation is coming to their end. The current plan is we very soon (this week?) will be making the drive back east to handle everything this involves. Jean also has some of her own issues that came to a head this week with a diagnosis of cancer. Upon our return home our attention will be turned to her surgery and the necessary follow up treatment.

While I will be doing my best to make progress on the book I expect this will cause some delay. I apologize in advance and will provide updates as things progress.

Thank you for your understanding.

Update:
My mother in law, Carol Smith Sexton passed peacefully last night. We arrived in time for Jean to be there and spent time with her fmom for her last few hours. We thank everyone in the Traveller and Prime Directive communities for their thoughts and prayers.

Just before we left we found out Jean has cancer (surgery is in Mid Jan). While on the road here my VA called wanting me in immediately to be monitored while the schedule me for pacemaker surgery on Monday (it will happen the following week).

Work on TPD is continuing - it may be arriving to space dock latter than scheduled but it will be arriving!

Just to update folks. The surgery went well for Al (and his pacemaker). Mine did as well and I think I've mostly recovered from the radiation therapy.

Thank you all for your patience and well wishes.
