Al. Love how you are doing this. Makes it so easy to track and make sure one is working on the latest "edition"

Celena and I were talking about character creating. It might be nice to have a callout box about needing 6 sided dice to play. I know it's in the section on Game Mechanics, but a box off to the side might be a nice add "What type of dice to I need?" in inside of a nice art box image

I can see each first word being done that way. But the entire sentence makes no sense in doing and it looks terrible.

Why Traveller, What's the Difference..

I think this is a great addition to the Intro Chapter...

We can call out things like all the great resource books that can be used and "ported" over the PD. The Trav books (very similar to GURPS) has a ton of material, but I feel like TRAV...being a sci fi only game...has a lot more books that can be "imported" into Trav.

TP CH 01 Intro has LOTS of great info.. so this is a great addition.

We also might want to call out other games type of engines and how they compare (example: Do you like point based character creation? See alternate creation rules).

The more reasons we can compare/contrast and offer pros/cons (transparently) the more we cast the net to draw players of other games.

We also don't want to forget those who play Trav but NOT PD. "This isn't your father's Star Trek, but don't let that stop you." As you all know, it takes a lot of work to translate PD into Trav mechanics. Existing Trav players should appreciate that Book One is setup to have players dive right in (since it will potentially have a ready made intro adventure).

More thoughts and comments later.
Working today, so just logging this in now before I forget

This last post was my only additional feedback for Chapter One. But, I was just thinking about the episode The Cage, or rather, The MeNAGERIE. Where Captain Pike is thinking about resigning his commission. He says something to the effect that Star Fleet isn't the only choice out there. This really seems to apply to Traveller.
