Ship Roster Card Packs?

Hello everyone!

I'm new to ACTASF, just read over the first book and was wondering, what do you use for the ships record keeping? Are they the Ship Roster Packs that are sold separately? Seems like the info about the ships in the book is just for informational purposes.

Appreciate the assistance and looking forward to getting some games in!

When I was running Playtest Groups for Book1.2 I made my own Ship Stat Cards in Excel and know quite a few players that still do this.

After Book1.2 came out ADB released Empire Specific Card Pack for the different Empires on Warehouse23(dot)com or Wargamevault(dot)com.

Currently I know Mark is working on Card Packs for Book 2 and Reinforcements 1 but, is holding off sending those into ADB until Book 3 gets buttoned up. And of course the staff is working on Book 3 Packs while doing Book 3.

Yes, the Ship Roster Packs are used for ship record keepingtime card calculator. The info in the book is mainly for reference and background information

While the ship card packs are very nice - they are not 'required' to enjoy the game.

Before the cards were available, our group just scribbled the stats of the ships we were using on a 3x5 index card and played that way.
