SSD Request - Lyran Prairie Cat SR

The fabulous community on the FC Facebook group suggested I make a request here for a FC version of the Prairie Cat Survey Cruiser.

Is such a thing possible?

Possible? Yes.

Probable? No idea.

This is something Steve would have to do. However, he has been pretty generous on such things when he has the time to do so. May you can get lucky?

The FB folks seemed to think it light make a good Hailing Frequencies bonus.

The first step is for me to look in G3 and get the SFB rule index number and product, which would lead me to the SSD. Converting the existing Tiger would take about 20 minutes. Let me ask Mike-S the warehouse guy to get me a G3.

It is R11.32 in Module R3. Looks easy, but I have to leave now to go visit Petrick at the nursing home.

On the plus side, the Lyran survey cruisers are normal tugs with special pods. And the tugs already exist. So, it should just mean making the pod.

I have done the SQ SR (and in the process discovered that the mouse on my ancient mac is almost dead) and sent it to be checked. Stay tuned.

I've recently found a need to dig out the old Mac Mini and recover some old files from it. Have not done it yet, though. Working up the courage...
