Fighters (BOM)

Post by MLJ »

Our group is working on bringing fighters into our Federation Commander games.
The resources we have in hand:
1. Captain's Log 37 (June 2008)
2. Communique #128 (August 2009)
3. BOM: Fighters & Carriers thread on this forum (OCT-NOV 2009)
Are there other resources available?
Has any group had developed some 'house rules' that they would like to share?

Going by a vague memory here, but I think that ADB is actually working on Fighters Attack as a future product...

ADB has done Gunboats Attack, leaving Fighters Attack and X-Ships Attack as the next two to focus on in no particular order. However, various factors in Real Life keep getting in the way, forcing them to focus on immediate emergencies.

Hopefully ADB will be able to get back to Federation Commander for something big to do, but they have to get through other things first. It'll come at some point.

Right now I am working on F&E CIVIL WARS. Albert is working on A CALL TO ARMS STAR FLEET BOOK 3. (Albert and I are also finalizing the new 3d printed starship contract, which is about as much work as designing a game.) Petrick is focused on final fixes to the ORION MASTER STARSHIP BOOK and pushing the update for SFB MODULE K. Daniel Kast is about to finish STARMADA: RUMORS OF WARS. After that, I think we may do CAPTAIN'S LOG 55 but Federation Commander will get its turn after or maybe before CL55. We have a lot of fish on the barbie and not all of them will be served on the same plate.
