turn 8
Turn 8 was completed and logged yesterday here ar ethe details.
1. the Federation attemted to broker for peace with the Kzinit after thier turn 7 invasion of a Kzinti level 4 sector. the Kzinti agreed only upon the retun of the sector in question. The federation agreed and the Kzinit fleet that was mobilizing for invasion stood down to fleet condition 2 (3 being war, 2 being elevated and ready)
2. the Kzinti did raid the Federation, the Kzinit NCA Fedifensor slipped across the Border to see what spoils were left of the already batterd federation merchant marine, they found the last 8 freighters still operating!! Unfortunelty the Federation respnded with 3 police cruisers and hired 2 Orion mercanaries (a BR and LR) the Kzinti withdrew.
3. The Federation invades the Terran Star Empire!! the Federation sent a fleet raoring across the TSE border, consisting of a BCG, 2NCL, 2CL and 2 FF, the TSE have responded in force, a CC, 2 NCA, 2 NCL, 3FF the battele will eb fought next week.
4. the TSE invaded and took two level 6 secotrs from the Tholians, a massive TSE fleet attacked two THolian industrail sectors, between this attack and a simultaneous Gorn attack into a level 5 sector the stretched Tholian fleet could defend against all three forces, and wisely withdrew to thier homesystem.
5. the Gorn counterattacked the Romulans a large Gorn fleet atacked a level 6 sector in the Romulan Empire, a HDN, CC, 3HDD, 3FF and a ORion LR crossed the Border, teh Romulans respose is a Condor DN, 2 KE, 1 KRC, 3 WE...battle to be fought next week.
Each Empire bought several different ships and items this turn.
Kzinti: 1 mobile base (placed on the Federation border) and a CC
Federation: 3 DW and 8 large freighters
TSE: DN
Klingon: B-10 BB
Tholians: BB
ROmulans: KRC, KR.
Battles will be rsolved next week!

I haven't looked at it in depth. Honestly, I only read the thread to make sure everyone plays nice. (Which, BTW, you all do. Thanks!) Quite frankly, I got a little lost after a while.
However, I am not the person you need to see it. That would be Steve. So, if you want him to see it, I would suggest taking the ideas here, cleaning them up, and presenting them to him as a submission. He can evaluate it from there.

1.29 rules
several changes to the game:
bases and supply
battleship construction time
revised raiding loss chart!
command ratings (lowered bases and starbases...)
cleaned up everything, assigned letters to special rules
provided sumary of turn sequence
revised turn sequence
revised system/sector rules....very cool on this one. no more static sizes, you choose how big by how many bases you build, production is not affected.
ect.ect.
