Federation Commander

As you have likely noticed, the December Communique is late this month. The reason is because of independent health issues being suffered by Steve and Jean. Once they are better (or getting better enough), they will have several priorities they likely have to complete first. So, it could be a while more before the Communique appears. Please be patient.

Jean needs your prayers.

Jean is back in the hospital. She went there Monday morning with serious breathing problems, and this morning (Wednesday) was moved to intensive care. While her life is not in danger, that is because she is being monitored minute by minute. The surgery fouled up her body's systems and she is accumulating fluid in her chest, keeping her from breathing. She had three pints of fluid removed via surgery on Monday and more will be removed today. She also has other complications from her original surgery which are being addressed.

Best wishes and prayers for both you and Jean. Let's hope that 2016 is a healthy year.

Jean is resting comfortably while the doctors try to find the source of the fluid buidup that is crushing her lungs.
