When good painters go bad!!!

Post by Scoutdad »

I've been threatening to do this for a few years now... but with the imminent release of FC: Distant Kingdoms - I just had to paint another Lyran "Panther" class light cruiser:

I hope everyone enjoys it:

Look above the box you type your post in.
See the buttons "Bold", "Italics", etc. The last one is "URL".
When you highlight it, it shows the formatting for adding a hyperlink:

So, does it have a contingent of female nurses it picked up from a stranded colony? And is it the first target of any opposing (and maybe allied) battle fleet?

Nope - you've associated it with the wrong TV show...

Okay, does it have a small cartoon inspector (Inspector Clou-so-draxx)? And is it thermally protected?

I was picturing Peter Sellers on the bridge as an exchange officer.

Nice job, as always Tony (if unorthodox).

I couldn't resist painting the "Pink Panther". It was my favorite Saturday morning cartoon when I was gowing up.

Now, it's my favorite Lyran ship, too.

Her Majesty may be sending you a bill for a new keyboard as my coffee and I parted company when I opened the first picture!

Nice one Scoutdad!

I like that!

Makes me wish I had more Pirate Raiders to paint. I'd do one for myself.

I've got 14 small / large freighters nearing completion and half a dozen Police Ships scheduled to be done after that.

Photos forthcoming...

Starnite - That is creative and just darn cool. More than just a paintjob, it's a back-story.
