shouldn't the caption actually read "Lyran Democratic Republic" Military Police ship? The top image has LDR markings and the second has Dark Star County markings...

Technically, the second one could be listed as Lyran/DDSC (Democratic Dark Star County), in addition.

I tried not to get too precise. I tired using the DDSC in a scenario for Fed Comm: Distant Kingdoms and the ptb changed it to LDR to prevent confusion.

Probably a goof thing, too. It prevents having o utilize several valuable pages in a future product to explain the progression from Dark Star County to Democratic Dark Star County (DDSC) to Lyran Democratic Republic (LDR) to Andromedan stronghold to Lyran Star Empire county again...

I'm not sure where I got this impression, but in the FedCom timeline, wasn't the MP a regular Lyran unit used by all counties?

I like how the color scheme changes since it's not a regular line unit.

Small ship, but still proves to be a threat to a pirate.
