Requests for ship cards to be sent to FCOL

Post by Steve Cole »

I have just finished sending all 72 ships from FCB2MY to Paul.

I don't mind sending him a new ship every day or two, so if there are any ship cards done but not in FCOL, let me know which ones you want.

Personally, I would like to see the battleships. But if for some reason those cannot be done, More Hydrans/Lyrans/WYN's would be nice (especially the WYNs)

And thanks much for the Middle Years ships.

Yes, I'd like to see the Distant Kingdoms ships in FCOL too.

And thanks for the Middle Years ships.

The Distant Kingdoms ships are done. I just don't have the counters for them.

Counters are being a problem. they're done in a stupid program called InDesign which won't export them as jpgs. At this point, it looks like the only way to do them for FCOL is to do them over again in another program, a ton of expensive work for something we're giving away. I've asked Leanna to check with Paul and see if he can use any of the stuff we CAN export from that stupid @#$% program. (We hired a guy to work for us who did the counters in that program, and the printer said "NEVER use that program again; it's too hard to work with!" The guy in question is no longer employed here.)

Now, on the other hand, I have just sent the Fed BCP, the Orion BR, and the Orion DW to Paul.

Maybe it's the Photon version of the BC, but I thought that was the BCJ.

The BCP is the phaser-1 version of the heavy battlecruiser. It has two FA phaser-1s instead of the drones/plasma-F/photons of the BCG/BCF/BCJ. It was featured in Captain's Log #38. In the "real" SFU history it was never built, the BCG got the nod instead. If the BCG had not been built, the BCP probably would have been the standard heavy battlecruiser of the Federation.

Orion BCH sent to Paul.

Leanna and I are trying to solve the countersheet problem.

Simple solution is to have Eric scan them if he ever shows up to work again.

I need to go see if I can find what we sent to Trafton way back when.

Sent 117 Orion Double Battle Raider to Paul F this morning. All of the Orion Attack ships are in jpg format, so I can send them to Paul about as fast as he can clear his email box.

Tony Thomas has high-rez scans of the counters and was going to send one to Paul F last night. We're waiting with bated breath to see if Paul can use it. If not, I will have Eric scan the counters this morning.

Either way, we should have all of FCDK, FCOA, and other products operational on FCOL by this weekend.

Bad storms = loss of power. No ability to email. If you can have Eric scan them, great - otherwise I'll email tonight.

Hooray! Thanks SVC, Tony, Eric, Paul and whoever else has contributed that I haven't mentioned.
