Drones lose tracking?

This came up in play: a drone is seeking a target moving towards it. Then the target slides behind a gas giant. The planet blocks line of sight to the drone. Does the drone stop seeking the target?[/b]

The rule is (6A1e). A planet will not cause a seeking weapon to lose tracking on its target. However, if the seeking weapon tries to move through a planet hex (in the normal course of its seeking movement), it will hit the planet and be removed from play.
