Most popular non-TV fleet?
While many gamers come into Federation Commander looking to fly the TV fleets, one thing I've been wondering is how popular the ones indigenous to the Star Fleet Universe have become.
(To clarify, that means anyone other than the Federation, Klingons, Romulans, Gorns, Kzintis, Tholians or Orions.)
Which is the most popular non-Franchise navy in your gaming group?

I'm discounting the Kzintis, since they were only in one episode of the animated series and in Niven's books (in a different form), not that SFU Kzintis are really much like either of the "source" versions. It's arguable if they are a "tv empire" at this point, but regardless, they are huge favorites on my table.
For clearly "non tv" empires, it's the Lyrans that seem to get lots of love at groups I've been in, with Hydrans a close second. Folks seem to love them kitty ships with the bangy ESGs. They also love the dirty, rotten, trashcan-lookin', methane-eating, point-blank-killing-the-badguys tentacle-dudes.
I've never seen anyone use ISC, nor Frax, etc. Despite being on tv, the Tholians also seem to be shunned (along with the non-tv Seltorians).

LDR seem popular because of the Gatling/ESG combo.
My personal fave among non-TV would probably be Seltorians so far, but I do like the mystery of the Andromedans. If the Andro rules for FC are as good as the conversion of the ESG rules was, then Andromedans in FC will be a blast to play!

The LDR is still my favorite. I think the fear of having the crunchy goodness of ESGs up close and personal bothers some of my game-mates, (one of them being a Kzinti lover). They are Klingons with more teeth! And, their ships just look damned cool!

IDK, they pay a lot of points for the PPD and other goodness. The ISC Star Cruiser is what everyone else would call a small heavy battlecruiser (or a big heavy cruiser, take your pick).I'm surprised that the ISC are not more popular, as their ships always seem horribly overgunned to me.
