Pulling Marines out of combat

Post by Kang »

I've been studying the transporter boarding party combat rules, and I think I have got this right.

Let's say I have attempted a boarding action to capture an enemy ship, and have come off pretty badly, so I decide to withdraw my troops from the enemy ship.

I'm assuming that, given correct range, a clear line of sight (no shields or terrain in the way), power to allocate and sufficient available transporters, I can simply pull my troops out using the procedure in (5E6). It's not as if I am moving enemy troops, or something else prohibited in (5E5); the only factor which might even remotely be relevant is that they are on an enemy ship, which is actually not relevant as far as I can see.

Is that right?
