Introduced a vet SFB player to FedCom

Guy on the left is Dave, he got me into SFB back in Jr. High. The guy standing is David, who I had taught to play a few months ago. I took the role of the BATS commander. Dave brought in the Hydran OVL (He played Hydrans all the time in SFB) and David came in the with the fleet scale Fed DN. Short version. The Fed DN came in close and got popped. The Hydran then charged right in and took some minor damage, but gutted my base. He finished me off, and took a few internals.

I still had 40 some damage to allocate at this point, so we called it a night. The Bats Destroyed and the Fed DN dead.

How did the BAT take so much frame? Are you aware that all warp/impulse can be taken as reactor on a base, so that you don't take frame every row on the DAC?

And apparently without taking any "hull" hits either, which is weird. IMX a BATS doesn't blow up without soaking up ridiculous amounts of damage.

I just marked the frame to indicate the base was destroyed because I didn't really want to drag out doing all those internals. (Plus it was late)

Oh, and the Hull was gone, I hadn't marked any cargo off yet.
