Andromedan supplies

Am I right in thinking that the Andromedans depended on supplies and raw materials captured in this Galaxy during their Invasion?

I'm asking because I'm writing a scenario about Andromedans in convoy raids....

We know that they did do asteroid mining to gather raw materials for their bases, and they did conquer planets and mine them. I don't know if they enslaved anybody or simply destroyed any facilities that Galactics needed to live. They did purchase things from Orions on occasion. So yeah, maybe they stole fuel or raw materials.

I have a vague recollection that the Andros used "sleds" for some of their mining and raiding ops.
