F & E 2010 and older expansions

I have F & E 2010, and am looking at the expansions which were published for older editions and wondering if any of them are "obsoleted" by the 2010 edition? I understand that the breaking down of carrier groups changes the usefulness of Fighter Operations, but is that still useful?

What about the others?

All of the expansions have rules and scenarios not found in the basic game. While the carrier groups rule has moved into basic FnE, there are still other things in there of interest.

If you enjoy the basic game and want to add more chrome, go ahead and pick up the expansions. They are are all current with FnE 2010.
