Stinger Question

As per rule 5Q2a from the section on Stingers: The Gatling Phaser can be used in the Defensive Fire Phase as well as the Direct Fire Phase.

Is the Defensive Fire that the Gatlings engage in aimed at seeking weapons that have impacted the Stinger?

Yes, the Gatling Phaser can be fired at seekers that have impacted on the stinger.

Remember Firing Arc and Shield Facing still apply. Putting the Direct Fire armed Stinger at a disadvantage compared to a Drone Armed Fighters.
