Captain's Log #5

Hello All,
I'm reading the story 'Day of the Eagle' in CL #5 and I'd like to be able to follow along on a map. Is there a map available that designates starbases and bases by name? The map in the Rule Reference Book doesn't have many details.

I don't think there is. The LSM has them marked, and the map in CALL TO ARMS has some of them marked based on the LSM.
Creating such a map would be a gigantic project taking many hours of key people time with no profit.
Maybe somebody could copy down all of the base names and hex numbers from the LSM?
Please, what is the LSM?

What is the LSM please? ...and the task sounds like something I'd like to try. By the way, those old Captain's Logs are a great read. Thanks for making them available.

The LSM is the F&E large scale map. It is a huge map that is/was sold separately for those that thought the included map was too small.

Note that Chuck Strong pointed out that there is one error: The LDR Dark Star "starbase" is actually a BATS.
