Captains log questions

For CL's that include ships/monsters etc for FC, are they laminated full color cards, or just paper sheets? Specifically wondering about Space Spider in #50. Also, has a counter for that been printed anywhere?

Any ship card provided in a Captains Log is paper.

While some some extra ships got 1/2 inch counts in later products, none got 1 inch counters, and I expect CL 50 is too recent to have been included.
