Hi all, Jean has been kind enough to post some of my Omega Sector renders to Facebook, but I figured I'd do some larger fleet shots here!
First up is a Maesron Fleet:

Here is a Probr Gunboat flotilla starting an attack run on a Trobrin CA. I took some creative license with these ships.

Looks good so far.
Probr PFs typically come four to a flotilla, though perhaps two more boats are off-camera?
Also, in terms of attack runs, the firing arcs (and launcher limitations) of the HEATs on Probr gunboats might make an oblique or side-on approach more common.
I would be curious to see what you might have in store for any of the more "exotic" Omega empires, art-wise. I could imagine getting Loriyill or Souldra ships right might be a particular challenge - as would the "living hulls" used by the Alunda and Branthodons. Have you put any thought into those kind of factions, are are you sticking with the more traditional "metal-hull" fleets for the time being? _________________ FC Omega Discussion (v3)

Thanks Nerroth!
I didn't really consider firing arcs with the Probr...more coolness effect and yeah we'll say there are 2 more, haha. I just went by the Omega SSD that had 6 on a sheet, didn't pay much more to detail
The Loriyill are my current project, I finally figured out how I'm going to make them. The Souldra I actually finished and will try to do up some art for them. The Alunda I've started too, but they've been the hardest to work on. |

My personal Omega Sector favorites: The Worb. Here a CVL launches it's full compliment of Broad fighters escorted by a CE (left) and a CA (right) leading the way.

Liking that Kolighar! However, the Souldra beam looks like a world of hurt. _________________ --

Well then, here are some Koligahr on patrol:
In the image from Left to right: Fighter Killer, CA, SCS, Gunboat and a DD.
And a closer shot of the SCS:
I wasn't a big fan of using poles to link the spheres together, so I made rings around the spheres which house all the weapons and engines. |

Great work--the colors and the lighting give them a...cool, weird kind of look. Thanks for sharing. |
