a no for sfb revolution edition, it scares me.

3) MSB Master Scenario Book
4) C4R Simulator Reinforcements
5) C4X Simulator X-ships

By Steve Cole (Stevecole) on Friday, December 26, 2008 - 02:17 pm: Edit

As I noted, I never understood the tech trees and anything involving Tech Trees is a dead issue until somebody does them and sends them to me. You can do them in crayons on napkins and mail them to me if you like. I'll have to do the graphics over anyway.

By Will McCammon (Djdood) on Friday, December 26, 2008 - 02:41 pm: Edit

Most of what I would want is already underway and dependent on folks outside of ADB. Of what's left on the list and vote-able:
1) Prime Directive Deck Plans Manual
2) FC Briefing #3: Support Ships
3) CapLog: Stellar Shadows #3
4) FC Tactics Manual
5) (tie) CapLog: Best of SFT/Starletter

By A. David Merritt (Adm) on Friday, December 26, 2008 - 02:52 pm: Edit

That was a rather long post, my apologies.
Earlier post condensed to top 6.

Campaign Designer’s Handbook #2
Note that the current Tech Trees do not align with Early Years on tech development, I have also worked on some tech trees.

Captain’s Log Special Issue: Stellar Shadows #3. OR SFB Module Lost Worlds: If it would include updated rules. i.e. Paravian/Carnivon General War/X-rules?

SFB Module C3A Andro Threat File

SFB Module C4R

SFB Module C4X

SFB Module E2 follow up

SFB Revolutionary Edition : only if done as “Might be done as a single book of revised rules” and only as optional rules.
I do not have the time or money to upgrade to a new edition of rules.

F&E Playtest Manual
F&E Tactical Notes and Strategy
SFB Master Starship Book

By Jonathan Jordan (Arcturusv) on Friday, December 26, 2008 - 05:07 pm: Edit

Omega Zero, SSJ3, depending on what it means maybe "Alternate Reality Manual", but probably Campaign Designer's Handbook #2, Captain's Log: Best of SFT/Starletter, SFB Module C3A Andromedan Threat File.

Revised list. Still too much out there even with the few cut out of the running. C3A though had to make the cut. Mostly because of curiousity, as much as no one in our group other than me really wants to take a stab at the Andros (Again, no one wants to have to learn all the unique Andro rules), I've seen the Threat File mentioned so much in past Captain's Logs that I'm very anxious to see what is in this mythical tome.

By Steve Cole (Stevecole) on Friday, December 26, 2008 - 06:58 pm: Edit

It's pretty obvious that general war carnivons go in SSJ3 (previously announced). Might do more of them later in "lost empires".

By Howard Bampton (Bampton) on Friday, December 26, 2008 - 07:48 pm: Edit

5. Campaign Designer’s Handbook #2
4. PD Tholians (any system).
3. SFB C3A
2. F&E playtest Manual.
1. SFB Master Starship Book, Volume I

By George Duffy (Sentinal) on Friday, December 26, 2008 - 08:07 pm: Edit

Ok, my top 5... in no particular order

1) G3 and G3A - Annexes, Charts, Tables... oh my :)

2) Leanna’s Fighting Starships - Always liked the concept, wanted to see this for a while now

3) SFB Module Omega Zero - Actually anything Omega will be a "must buy" for me

4) SFB Master Starship Book, Volume I - and II and III and etc. (I got a personal stake to see this come about)

5) Art of the Star Fleet Universe - Why you might ask? Having a book with Adam Turner's, Neale Davidson's and Dale Mckee's art work, along with others that have submitted? ....come on, that's a no brainer. :)

There are others but these all fight for the front of the list.

B^)

By Paul Pease (Theghost) on Saturday, December 27, 2008 - 11:09 am: Edit

F&E Tactical Notes Compilation (F&E tactics/strategy manual would be ideal)
F&E Playtest Manual
SFB Module U91
SFB Revolutionary Edition (if done as a single item/rulebook, no desire to repurchase the entire product line. Desire would be for changes that address things such as brick shields, star castling, quicker damage allocation, reverse movement, possibe changes to make energy allocation quicker, etc.

By Patrick H. Dillman (Patrick) on Saturday, December 27, 2008 - 01:49 pm: Edit

My top seven in no order what so ever:

1: F&E - Master Rulebook

By jeffery smith (Jsmith) on Saturday, December 27, 2008 - 03:01 pm: Edit

1: ssj3 or sfb lost worlds(whichever will give us the most gw carnivon, paravian's & peladine into the game(sfb,fc, & or f&e). i would also love to see more of mike rapers tycosians)
2:leanna's fighting starships
3:any of the C4 modules

looks like my gaming budget is going to be strained this year!

By Nick G. Blank (Nickgb) on Saturday, December 27, 2008 - 04:52 pm: Edit

Interested in most of this stuff, but my likely top 5 in no particular order...

Captain’s Log Reprints: Leanna is committed to having all of the first 17 issues back in print by Spring 2009.

Captain’s Log Special Issue: Stellar Shadows #3. Arguably the #1 item on the list, but it would take some work. Rules and SSDs would have to be created and then tested. Iffy that this could be done in time for release this year.

Leanna’s Fighting Starships: Done by Neale Davidson: I confess that this should have been done long ago. The problem is finding enough SVC time to "work with" Neale and actually create the data.

Prime Directive Deck Plans Manual: Free Trader, Federation Express, Federation Frigate, Klingon G1, Romulan SkyHawk, Romulan Snipe, Tholian PC/DD, Orion LR, Romulan gunboat, Small commercial freighter, commercial platform. Could be done as a book or a package of sheets.

SFB Master Starship Book, Volume I: The Hydrans are 98% done, but that took two years. At least, it defined how to do the book. Theory would be to do another empire (Klingons or Lyrans) and see how that goes. We might end up doing one empire per book, or a selection of empires per book.

By Glenn Hoepfner (Ikabar) on Saturday, December 27, 2008 - 06:37 pm: Edit

5. Master SSD book (my SSDs are getting frayed)
4. Omega whatever with new scheduled races
3. SFB C3A
2. SSJ #3
1. G3 with all known races including Omega.

By Loren Knight (Loren) on Saturday, December 27, 2008 - 07:42 pm: Edit

Glen: Maybe there could just be a package deal for buying all the SSD books at once? Say SSD Pack-C, SSD Pack-R, etc.

By Randy O. Green (Hollywood750) on Saturday, December 27, 2008 - 08:55 pm: Edit

SSJ#3
PD Feds (or whatever its called)
PD Tholians
Leanna's Fighting Starships
Art of SFB Universe (tie)
Lost Worlds (tie)

By Dal Downing (3dee) on Sunday, December 28, 2008 - 11:42 pm: Edit

In Order fron the Top...

1. Captian's Log Special: Stellar Shadows #3 (And please make them specials and not just take up the next Captian's Log Number.)
2. Captian's Log Special: Best of Star Fleet Times. (See note on Number 1 above.)
3. F&E Playtest Manual
4. SFB: Revolutionary Edition/SFB: Master Rulebook Supplemental. (I would really ask that these 2 be combined into one product.)
5. FC: Briefing #3

By Trent Telenko (Ttelenko) on Monday, December 29, 2008 - 11:54 am: Edit

My top five products picks for 2009:

1) SFB Master Scenario book -- This may have to be multiple volumes.

2) F&E Tactical Notes Compilation

3) SFB Carrier & Fighter product [Just call the puppy "J3"] -- Make it some combination of SFB Module CVG, SFB Module CVH, SFB Module CV, SFB Module FTR: SSDs for fighter groups. Please use available material. I would like to see this product include Petrick's fighter development articles from Captain's log and SSD's for Federation bomber kits.

4) SFB Master Starship Book, Volume I -- Definitely multiple volumes!

5) F&E - I.S.C. Wars

By Richard Sherman (Rich) on Monday, December 29, 2008 - 12:24 pm: Edit

By James Hallmark (Jhallmark) on Monday, December 29, 2008 - 10:49 pm: Edit

Unlisted first pick: X1B

Top 5 from list(I would plan to buy these):

SFB Module C3A Andro Threat File
SFB Monster Manual
SFB Master Scenario Book (please come up with a way to see the races and # of players in the table of contents)
SFB Master Rulebook Supplement (This should include everything except the ship descriptions and annexs)
SFB Module R99 (and 13-98, as long as they have standard warships and not just ftr/pf stuff)

I would also plan to buy these:
Captain’s Log Special Issue: Stellar Shadows #3
SFB Module P2X

By Steve Cole (Stevecole) on Monday, December 29, 2008 - 11:02 pm: Edit
