Either way, if its got an S## in front of the scenario, I'll buy it.

One that only attacks Terran planets?
Sure that can be arranged.
The Hydran's would gladly heard them towards the Klingons if they found any.

Module S3: Monster Manual
Great idea. This will give the monsters some respect. The first game of SFB I ever played was the guy who new how to play running the monster and me running a Heavy Crusier.
I think I would add enough information so that these could be used as spring boards for GPD adventures too.

Robert G. You mean like a description of what the monsters look for?
Example. The Banshee's in Module K (PFs) go after bases+ ships larger than SC4 to 'incubate' in.
What does a 'Space Ameoba' go after?

Frank the Comet rules were published in SSJ1.

They ought to make the Al Gore monster...he bores your crew to death. "I am Al Gore; you are hearing me talk". Oops! Five crew just passed out...

I'll buy this when it comes out, for sure. I always loved the Space Dragon scenario. Once, when I was in a cast and had lots of time on my hands, I even made a full-color space dragon SSD. Had a nice drawing of the dragon, and boxes on the body with lables so you could check 'em off. Even made up the to-hit and weapon tables, and a little "monster data table" to go with it. I feel for you guys at ADB making these up!

Comets are in P6, not SSJ1, at least I don't think they are in SSJ1.

Kind of. Mostly a paragraph or two that would give a GM a few ideas on creating adventures around the monsters. For example: A Sun Snake is coming, while several ships are out to kill it before it gets there, the PC would be on planet helping to get people off world just in case, stopping looters or maybe being looters depending on the group's point of view. See any Godzilla movie for more ideas, there was always something other than "big monster attacks" going on in the background.

Or if you can back propagate from Star Fleet Command: The Beast Rider cartel of their Orion Pirates uses space monsters for some of their ships. Could make an interesting campaign.

SVC,
Can we post monster SSD's of our own making? Just for fun? I found my old space dragon one, and thought it might make for some good discussion. I understand if not, of course...just checking.

Mike, we can always use monsters that are fun.
But I'll let someone lese write the rules for the Al Gore monster

You want a monster ?
The Chir'hac the most hated monster in the Federation. Some rumors says if attacked he will be protected by the Klingons.
You recognize him easily with his long nose.
Children are frightened when they heard him scream:"Ecouteez..vous....ttta gueule !"
Notice he his immune to all lawyers' attacks and like a cat always fell on his feet.

Michael John Campbell: your two-meter-tall robots are in SFB already; they're called "Andromedans."

With the exception of the juggernaut and some of the older monsters (Planet Crusher comes to mind), I've never been that crazy about the monster scenarios.
That said, I'd still like to see an S3, even if the primary focus is monsters, and would purchase it.
My hope, however, is that there would be enough room in S3 to include at least a handful of regular historical scenarios as well.
