An Israeli spy was on board Greta Thunberg’s ship. Israel has released video taken of Thunberg and other admitting there never were any medical supplies, that Hamas funded the mission, and that it was all a publicity stunt. The group hoped that the trip would provide videos they could use to solicit donations to their activist group.

"Was the U.N. also going to prevent the Arab nations from forcibly expelling their Jewish populations and confiscating their property? Was the U.N. going to stop Arab nations from invading?"

While the U.N. had no authority over the former, it could have done the latter, had it had the foresight to put blue-helmets on the ground at the time of announcement of the Partition Plan.

By Paul Howard (Raven) on Monday, October 06, 2025 - 04:34 pm: Edit

SVC - do you have any further details on the 'spy' - as currently no credible evidence to support this seems to exist in the UK and related Global sources I can search?

For those that 'know' Greta even abit - accepting she is a very annoying brat and media hungary person - I don't think she would be involved with Hamas.

In it's most basic sense - Hamas probably ranks alongside 'people who regualrily fly' in who she hates.

On the Isreaeli/Palestine Deal - it seems both sides want to pick and choose what they will accept - and so probably is dead in the water?

By Paul Howard (Raven) on Monday, October 06, 2025 - 04:39 pm: Edit

On the orginal UN Blue Helmets...

...hindsight shows Unarmed Observes was never a good idea.

The relevant issue though is - 'who' could have been armed Blue Helmets?

I am not sure say Columbia, Mexico and Switzerland would have been 'happy' with their troops on the ground?

Portugal and Ireland was too aligned to the Allies, Sweden and Spain too aligned to both sides/Axis (along with msot South American Nations).

Africa didn't really have any indepdenent forces....so that does really leave many independent nations???

So - who could have formed a strong Blue Line (I don't know!)?

By Steve Cole (Stevecole) on Monday, October 06, 2025 - 04:56 pm: Edit

Paul, you can go to YouTube and watch video of Greta and her buddies saying just exactly that. WARNING, the UK may send police to your home to arrest you for watching that video as it is hate speech.

By A David Merritt (Adm) on Monday, October 06, 2025 - 06:04 pm: Edit

SVC, Do you have a link? I can't find it in 10 pages of searching.

By Jeff Wile (Jswile) on Monday, October 06, 2025 - 08:10 pm: Edit

ADM:

Not sure what link SVC talked about, but the Rubin report posted a video clip titled “Caught Lying.”

Clearly shows Thunberg on the yacht.

Hope this helps.

By A David Merritt (Adm) on Monday, October 06, 2025 - 09:39 pm: Edit

Since what I found was interviews, or reports by friends, that's does not appear to be what SVC referred to at 4:56, however it was closer than anything that I found.

Thank you Jeff.

There are so many Greta vids I cannot find the one I saw. I wish YouTube had an easy way to find what you already watched but I haven't found it. It has already scolled off my history here. Without remembering the title word for word, there doesnt seem to be an easy way to find it.

By A David Merritt (Adm) on Monday, October 06, 2025 - 09:47 pm: Edit

Thank you for trying, SVC.

By Steve Cole (Stevecole) on Monday, October 06, 2025 - 11:06 pm: Edit

If I stumble into it, I will post a link. I watch most of YouTube on ROKU and that interface is horribly limited and doesn't really way to find it without remembering the word for word title. I have had that happen so many times.

I don't doubt the Israeli infiltrate various groups and try discredit them. It is one of oldest tricks in the book. I recall for example in recent years the scandal of police in the UK working undercover infiltrating Environmental protest groups. They had relationship with female members and even fathered children with them, only to one day just disappear. That was civil police, against their own citizens, in peace time.
What SVC saw is part of the propaganda war and we are all targets and victims. Check your sources, especially if it's sounds too good to be true. (especially in these times, and with AI fakes getting better and better)

By Paul Howard (Raven) on Tuesday, October 07, 2025 - 04:08 am: Edit

Well, found a Dave Ruben "caught lying" video which bascially was just an insulting rant (no doubt this is what his viewers want to see) against Greta with zero facts and one from 'The Jesus Enrique Rosas' - but no actual videos or information from the IDF stating there was no aid on board.

Neither Video also mentioned Hamas 'funding' the mission though - and to be honest - neither said 'Greta lied about' - I would say both videos were classic click bait - big headline and the video contained nothing to support the headline.

The other video's which came up were older (pre-Flottia) and mentioned about 'Fraud' or about her 'imprisonment'.

So, sorry, I think that very much sounds like it was a misinformation video from someone and is untrue?

By Steve Cole (Stevecole) on Tuesday, October 07, 2025 - 08:05 am: Edit

The report that there was no aid on the boat is widely distributed.

I don’t know that Greta ever denied Hamas funding so I don’t think she technically lied about that.

Pro-Israel agent infiltrates Greta Thunberg’s flotilla, this is what

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V4Rrijcu73A&t=219s

This is some website quoting the video that I saw, repeating most of it. Too many are living in a dreamworld of cognitive dissonance. The video I noted was true, as was everything I said about it. Sorry to burst Paul’s bubble.

Don’t call me a liar again, Paul, that’s a line nobody gets to cross. You will be instantly and permanently expelled if you ever do it again.

SVC

Please accept my apology, I never intended to even infur you was lying - i was refering to the videos that I had been able to view, in my humble opinion, was purely propaganda.

However, the video link you posted, may well have some uncomfortable facts/information about the Flotila and some of the individuals involved, but the main two aspects I noted was

1) Greta is not shown in any video shots
2) It states there was a limited amount of medical supplies on the ship they was on (gauses was mentiined around 5 minutes in) - other boats might have had more or less aid, but I agree it was more a publicity stunt rather than a meaningful effort.

Therefore, I am unsure what the link from Greta to HAMAS was?

(Your 4.04 post yesterday I thought mentioned Greta, so it might have been amended or perhaps more likely, I imagined it).

Please again accept my apology if you felt I was infuring anything though - it was not my intention (my intention was to learn more, as my knowledge on Greta** was that she was not enclined that way and once I had searched, I still couldn't find anything, but that didn't mean it wasn't out there - and so there more may more videos or information which is relevant).

** - Greta is relevant to what some of my clients do or are interested in and so I was fairly aware of her Ecological 'credentials' (both positive and negative).

Thanks

P.S. You might have partially been tongue in cheek on one comment, but it is important to note that the group 'Palestine Action' is a banned Terrorist group in the UK, and so your absolutely right care does need to be taken in case 'Big Brother' is watching over someones shoulder. It seems every weekend a protest supporting that group occurs and 400+ people are arrested (and alas the media do like a good story - the 'fact' a Blind Person was carrying a Pro-PA banner and got arrrested for example was major news over the weekend). My personal 2p is that freedom of speech is important, but if a group does Criminal Damage which potentially affects the UK military (which they did) - they don't fully deserve those rights and so what the UK Government did was correct (albiet perhaps heavy handed) and so politely I would put them either in the group of 'idiots' or 'they should have known better'.

By Steve Cole (Stevecole) on Tuesday, October 07, 2025 - 09:52 am: Edit

The video I linked established clear links from Hamas to the flotilla. I don’t know that anyone thinks Greta is a mastermind who personally arranged anything. I would call her a useful idiot.

By A David Merritt (Adm) on Tuesday, October 07, 2025 - 02:05 pm: Edit

SVC, once again, thank you for the link.

By Carl-Magnus Carlsson (Hardcore) on Tuesday, October 07, 2025 - 03:36 pm: Edit

That video... Was like someone high on speed and LSD had made a propaganda video inspired by tik tok. It was the highlight of my day, but I don't think It would be acceptable as evidence in court.

HOWEVER I noticed the logo "ad kan!" in the corner. A little google-fu showed an unexpected result! The video SVC saw was likely a documentary called “Shtula” (The Mole), aired 20222 in Israel. Behind it is an activist group of former soldiers and personnel in the Israeli intelligence services that call themselves "Ad Kan" (enough).

Here is an article on the group in Swedish left leaning paper. It is translated to english bvy google translate. https://www-etc-se.translate.goog/utrikes/ad-kan-attackerar-aktivister-i-israel-samarbetar-med-netanyahus-regering?_x_tr_sl=auto&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=sv&_x_tr_pto=wapp

So there we have it. With the name and year it's should be easier to locate the video on YouTube.

Hamas has agreed to the first phase of Trump’s peace plan. The deal will be officially signed Thursday and all hostages must then be released within 72 hours. Everyone assumes that Hamas will stall, claiming that it cannot find some of them due to Israeli bombing and invading. As part of Phase I, Israel will pull back a few hundred meters to clear space for relief supplies.

Hamas is scheduled to give up power in a later phase. No one thinks that will happen.

By Jessica Orsini (Jessica_Orsini) on Thursday, October 09, 2025 - 08:34 am: Edit

It looks like Finance Minister Smotrich is going to have his Religious Zionism party oppose any vote to accept the ceasefire, and will yank said party out of the governing coalition if the vote passes. National Security Minister Ben-Gvir has issued much the same threat with regard to his Otzma Yehudit party. Opposition leader Yair Lapid is in turn offering support for the gov't to prevent collapse to provide cover for a positive vote on the ceasefire, but it is uncertain how much of his "change bloc" will join him in that, or how long the gov't could stand afterward.

On the other side of the conflict, the main tensions appear to be between the parts of Hamas that are in Gaza (which aren't keen on the deal) and the parts of Hamas that are not (which badly want it) - serving as a reminder that Hamas has multiple factions that do not always get along terribly well. The main argument of the Gaza factions is that if they hand over all hostages before the IDF withdraws, they'll have no leverage to ensure that the withdrawal actually happens; the non-Gaza factions are somewhat reluctantly opting to trust that Pres. Trump will enforce the withdrawl.

By Steve Cole (Stevecole) on Thursday, October 09, 2025 - 11:10 am: Edit

The Israeli withdrawal in this phase is just a few hundred meters. Full withdrawal is years away in phase IV when Gaza is ruled by a non-Hamas government.

Phase I is going to be problematic. Thursday, the cabinet votes on the deal; see Jessica’s explanation of the problems there. Hamas must hand over all hostages by Monday and what do ou do when they keep a few and say “ gosh, we cannot locate them as they were in areas Israel destroyed.

Hamas has not agreed to hand over their weapons, give up power, or agree to never attack Israel again. Israel agrees with everything except the end of the plan when the Palestinian Authority takes over Gaza.

By Jessica Orsini (Jessica_Orsini) on Thursday, October 09, 2025 - 02:48 pm: Edit

The Israeli security cabinet finished their meeting and now the Knesset is meeting; no word on how the vote went in the security cabinet, other than both Smotrich and Ben-Gvir pre-announcing their votes against.

FYEO
Morale: Americans Killed by Israelis
October 4, 2025: An American citizen was killed by Israeli settlers in the West Bank. A second man, a Palestinian was also killed. Since late 2023 nearly a thousand Palestinians have been killed by settlers. Between late 2023 and the end of 2024 there were nearly 1,900 incidents of settler violence. That’s about four incidents a day. The many Israeli soldiers stationed in the West Bank to keep the peace rarely interfere.
These Israeli civilians have weapons and regularly attack Palestinians and destroy their property. The Israeli military almost never attempts to stop them, and when they do, only three percent of their investigations lead to the conviction of a settler.
This recently became an issue in America because of an attack on a Palestinian Roman Catholic church. This attack took place in the only West Bank village inhabited wholly by Palestinian Catholics. Because of the ongoing war in Gaza, Israeli operations in the West Bank killed hundreds of Palestinians and displaced over 20,000 civilians.
The death of an American, beaten to death by settlers, generated a lot of attention by U.S. media. So far, the Israelis are ignoring American calls to protect U.S. citizens who visit the West Bank. Israel depends on the United States for weapons and billions of dollars a year in foreign aid. If that were threatened, it may well propel the Israeli government to do something about the rampaging settlers.
This sort of thing is not unique to Israel. Last year there were numerous efforts to rearrange the ethnic, religious and political realities of the Middle East. The most visible and endlessly frustrating effort was the destruction of Israel. After that there are calls for the replacement of Arab dictatorships and sham democracies with true democracies. The only functioning democracy in the region is Israel. At the same time Israelis are frequently blamed for any problems that occur. This hostility to democracy in the Middle East has long been noted. For example, Britain and France did not intend to establish democracies in the Near East after World War I when the collapse of the Ottoman Empire left Europeans, rather than Turks, in charge of the region. Democracy did not appear to work in the Middle East, at least not for long. Israel was the only exception and most governments and factions in the region hated Israel for its democracy, stability and prosperity.
This hatred most recently expressed itself when Hamas, a Palestinian anti-Israel militia unsuccessfully attacked Israel in October 2023. The Palestinians have, since the 1940’s Israeli war of independence, been their own worst enemies and never missed an opportunity to miss an opportunity. This mess started a century ago after World War I when the victorious allies had defeated Germany and its Turkish ally. Part of the post-war plan was to reorganize Palestine, the Levant region of Syria and Lebanon, as British and French-controlled monarchies. That did not work and Arab nationalists in what is now Israel attacked Jewish settlers from Europe who were seeking to establish a Jewish state in the area. This movement was proposed in the 1890s but was not acted on until 1920, after World War I, with nominal British approval in the Balfour Declaration. This led to increasing Arab violence against Jews.
Then came World War II and the German effort to kill all the Jews in Europe. Six million Jews, and six million other Europeans the Germans considered unworthy, were killed during the war. This led many of the surviving Jews to declare Never Again, and the establishment of the state of Israel in 1948. This and British forces leaving the region triggered violence from the surrounding Arab states, who urged the Palestinian Arabs living there to flee Israel. The other Arab states, and Israeli terrorists, urged the Palestinians to flee so they could steal the Palestinians’ lands in Israel. They mostly succeeded. At the same time the Israel government urged the Arabs among them to stay. Many did, and currently 20 percent of the Israeli population is Arab, most of them Moslem. The Israelis defeated forces from Iraq, Egypt, Jordan, and Syria who sought to destroy Israel. That was followed by Arab-Israeli wars in 1957, 1967, and 1973. Israel won every time and that eventually led Egypt and Jordan to make peace with Israel.
The Palestinians refused to settle for anything less than the destruction of Israel and eviction of all the Jews in it, and that refusal has persisted. This intransigence first occurred in 1949 when Israel offered to allow 300,000 Palestinians to return. As part of that deal the United States agreed to pay for the construction of homes for 200,000 people in Jordan and another 60,000 in Sinai and the east bank of the Suez Canal. Arab and Palestinian leaders ordered their followers to ignore these offers and continued blaming Israel for the dire situation of Palestinian refugees.
Palestinian radicals, Hamas being one of those groups, insists that Israel be destroyed and replaced by a Palestinian State. These Palestinians ignore the fact that Israel has the strongest military in the region, nuclear weapons, their own ballistic missiles to deliver nuclear warheads and the wealthiest, most advanced economy in the region.
Despite that, Palestinian radicals continue to promote attacks on Israel. Radicals in other Arab states sympathize with the Palestinians but do little more than demonstrate against Israel in their own countries and often get arrested. The Arab governments see Israel as a lucrative economic partner and in some cases a useful partner in counter-terrorism operations. Anti-Israel groups throughout the Arab world are often troublesome for the local Arab governments. Israel shares information about Islamic terrorists with Middle Eastern Arab states and earns a degree of cooperation from these governments.
In the streets it is a different story, with radicals calling for attacks on Israel as well as local governments that are not willing to make war on Israel. Nations in the region regularly claim they are rearranging their relationships with their neighbors. Those claims are rarely fulfilled while the ancient feuds return with new names and occasionally new participants when some other player has disappeared.
