Ukraine can now jam the GPS guidance on Russian glide bombs, leaving most of them to miss their targets.

The Russian air defense network has been reduced to Swiss cheese. Ukraine focused on killing radar and air defense systems during 2025, and Ukraine can find gaps to get to any target they want. The focus now is on oil terminals.

SHOTS FIRED NEAR WHITE HOUSE correspondents’ dinner. Police and other security people entered the ballroom to evacuate the president and protect all the big shots. The dinner seems to have been stopped. One gunman was arrested. Witnesses said no one in the ballroom even heard the shots, or maybe some did. Not clear this might have been at a hotel not the White House per se. lots of commotion not much information.

Further reports. Shooting was in lobby. Dinner may resume in a few minutes. Definitely at the Hilton not the White House itself. No info yet how gunman got into the security zone. It is possible that the gunman was detected at the door and metal detectors and started shooting there. Erika Kirk was there and was reportedly traumatized. Security people are checking and patting down everyone in the room.

Congressmen are now being evacuated and taken home by police.

Reporters who were in the ballroom said they heard some kind of noise and seconds later police and secret service were telling everyone to get down on the floor.

I hope all the guests are able to go home unharmed, even the ones I find reprehensible, that the wounded Secret Service agent is the only one injured, his injures prove minor and he makes a full recovery, and whomever the shooter is, he or she is prosecuted fully, deeply, and publicly.

Trump speaking, cites need for the new ballroom for security. Asks all Americans to commit to resolving arguments peacefully. Praised secret service insists on. Said gunman had multiple weapons. Trump says press has been responsible in reporting tonight’s events.

Gunman is 31, from California. Police are already searching his home.

Cabinet officers praised law enforcement officers.

Tape shows gunman running at sprint speed through metal detectors. Name of shooter is Cole Tomas Allen of Torrance California. He is a registered Democrat but that doesn’t actually mean anything.

Something to consider is that almost all of the reporters, journalists, officials, and others present were sitting beside their spouses. No matter what the primaries signed up for career wise, their spouses did not sign up visit a war zone.

Gunman is charged with two counts of using a weapon and with assaulting a federal officer. Judge Pirro, now US attorney for DC, said it was the first time in her law enforcement career she had been near a shooting. The gunman will appear in court Monday to be charged. So far nothing proves he was specifically there to assassinate Trump.
