F & E 2010 and older expansions

I have F & E 2010, and am looking at the expansions which were published for older editions and wondering if any of them are "obsoleted" by the 2010 edition? I understand that the breaking down of carrier groups changes the usefulness of Fighter Operations, but is that still useful?

What about the ...

Re: Should Buyers Hold Off On Klingon Armada Products?

What will be done for owners of the current versions?
When I asked a while back the answer was that at that stage, it was undecided. I'd be reluctant to pay anything until I knew for sure. I'm personally liking the look of the new game, but I'll be a bit annoyed if there's no "upgrade path" for ...

Not quite.

The rules for them are on page 33 and 34 of the RA rulebook. Basically, each type (R, S, G, F or D) is a treated as a different type of Striker "flight", with a size between 8 and 2. They're mostly like the Drones from KA, but with different stats and an Attack whcih gets weaker the ...

I figure it was just referred to as "the invasion". I get the impression that it was fairly obvious that the Andros weren't "from around here", and there were already Tholians around who were known to also be from another galaxy.

The characters in my game have just been referring to it as "this **** war". I figured that people would start calling it "the general war" once it'd been going on for a while, but actually, what SVC says rings very true and makes me think that the term "General War" would be something people ...

At what point did people start calling it "The General

Something came up in a recent RPG game session: at what point did people start calling the General War by that name? I'm assuming it wasn't entirely obvious quite how big it was going to get right from the start.

Hi Mr Tricorder!

RPGs are a very diverse hobby and there are plenty of ways to play. None of them are "right", so much as "right for the individuals involved". One man's meat is another man's poison and all that. So anyone's advice should be seen in that light: what works for them might not work ...

To add to the voices:

When we play, we use a fairly mashed up system using various components from various versions of FATE . I do some writing for StarBlazer Adventures , so using FATE to run games set of spaceships is quite natural to us. We use background from several PD sources (the Gurps ones ...

SFB counters and colour coding

Hi guys!

I recently bought a huge collection of SFB stuff on ebay, and it came with a great many cardboard counters which are all mixed up. I'm trying to sort them out and while it's fairly obvious who all the "main" races are (basically the Alpha Octant empires) there are a whole bunch I don't ...

I'd really really love to see an equivalent of Fed Com's Booster Zero for Klingon Armada. Although I appreciate that's a fair bit of work (since it'd have to have at least basic rules for cloaks, plasmas etc etc) and not really reasonable for CL 40.

As an old Full Thrust player, I was right at home seeing fighter flights.

Can't wait to see more ships, however they get published.
