Keep in mind that many of the Communique ships were later released in an official product. You have the Lyran CC listed in Communique #30 as well as Booster #21. And don't forget Captains Log. For instance, the Federation BCP (phaser Battlecruiser) is only found in the most recent issue of Captains Log - #38.

The best place to check for this sort of thing is actually the Master Ship List, which is available in Commander's Circle. Assuming that it's up to date, then it's a simple matter to count the number of ships listed there. If it's not up to date, then you'll need to figure out products (including issues of Communique and Captains Log) came after the most recent update, and add them as well.

Captains Log, Master Ship list, Commander's Circle; can you provide links to these? I'm not aware of any of their locations. I thought I have found everything there was to locate on the FC website. I thought the Lyran CC listed in Issue #30 was a variant of the CC that appeared in Booster #21.

Go to the main starfleetgames.com website for information on the Captains Log magazine.

There is also a link-button to Commander's Circle from the main Federation Commander website (goes to the same place as the link that asguard101 provided).

Commanders Circle is where the issues of Communique can be found. Since you have access to a list of ships from Communique, I would assume that you have access to the issues of Communique themselves, which means that you've been to Commanders Circle but presumeably didn't realize it.

Pull up the page with the issues of Communique and scroll all the way down, and you should see a link to the Master Ship List pdf.

Captains Log is a twice-a-year periodical that contains news and information for all of the different ADB products. You can buy it at your local game store, or order individual issues through the mail from ADB.

Don't feel too bad. I've thought for a while now that Commander's Circle doesn't match the main website in "ease of use". It could also be argued that it's gotten out of synch in "look and feel".

The 'resources' section in particular needs some organizing - your not noticing all the goodies like the master ship list all the way at the bottom is a pretty good indicator that it needs some additional formatting / more-hierarchy. Maybe someday the Communiques can get their own section with the most-recent issue presented and all the older ones segregated off into an archive area (or, more-simply, have the older ones grouped off by-year). The same would apply to things like the master ships chart (there are older, out-of-date ones which have different sorting-criteria in there along with the current one).

I doubt something like this would happen for quite a while though. There is the problem that the Commander's Circle has some unique arrangements to allow the log-in viewing which were best understood by the much-missed Joe Butler (who has since passed away). With all the things that ADB has to do (and with them moving to a new building), this would be a pretty low priority.
