I'm just wondering if this is normal, or whether I received a dud?
Regardless, I'm glad I got these miniatures
Thanks,

Check the legacy board about the new Starline 2500.Dal Downing wrote:Not holding one in my hand right now, I am willing to bet it is a anomaly of spincasting. If you looked at other minis I am sure you would notice similar oddity. It trace back to metal flow and gate locations in the molds.
All in all I have to cut ADBs production methods a break. For the quanity they produce it is the most reasonable and cost effective way togo. I work in a Plastic Injection facility but the expense in going that route really only becomes piratical when you make hundred of thousands of cycles.
Yep. Already seen it.phdillman wrote:Check the legacy board about the new Starline 2500.

I'm going to go broke buying new minis and will die of sleep deprivation trying ot paint them all.
And what shall I do with the 4 or 5 hundred painted, 2 to 300 prepped and primed, and 3 to 400 unopened Starline miniatures sitting in my workroom now???
You're breaking my heart, Tony. You know you can never be too rich or have too many minisScoutdad wrote:Yep. Already seen it.
