I also want to chime in how amazing it is that you include "Background on the SFB Universe." Even if players are familiar with TOS, TNG, etc... this does a GREAT job of explaining that this book is NOT a Star Trek RPG, but there are some commonalities that help players understand some basic world concepts: Federations, starship technology, etc. That said, while this is the SFU as designed by ADB, I think this book will also be attractive to players who want to use the rules and setting to venture off into their own version of Trek because the other existing games have become very, very bloated or take forever to get because they come from afar. Just thinking of other selling points for the game to generate sales.
