CL and 12. More balconies, more phaser-3s, and all 12 fighters can be launched at the same time. SVC says it is the Gorn version of the scatter-pack.

I see 12 balcony positions. I would think it is a CL hull carrying 24 fighters (otherwise the word 'heavy' wouldn't make any sense).

I don't think a smaller hull would make any sense.

The current CV is based upon on the CL hull and already hauls 12 SFB fighters (6 F&E fighter factors).

I suppose a Gorn heavy carrier based upon the CL might carry 12 SFB fighters might be classed as a CLVH or even a CLVD...is that what you mean?

No, I meant that it carried 24 SFB fighters, as the current CV carries 12 and what else could the word 'heavy' mean?

I mean, it could carry heavy fighters and standard fighters or be a CV that carries 6 heavy fighters and doesn't use all the balcony positions, but that would seem weird.

I suppose it could be a DD hull that carried 12 fighters, but I suspect not (for one thing it is missing the central plasma launcher those hulls normally have).

C'mon guys don't you see the Copywrite date on this thing?Someone is just toying with you. The first thing I thought of was a Gorn butterfly.

The only benefit to this without extra fighters would be the fast launch capability. It would likely have to have more hull space to account for the deck crew required to handle this benefit.

So when this gets converted into a DNC...

I say turn the ph-3s into tractor mech-links for PFs. Then rule that it cannot launch fighters from either side until the PFs on that side have launched.
