Careful... How long do you think WebMom will be able to Resist launching a global cookware strike on the entire BBS!?

Priority alert:

After the initial launch of the "End of Days" Griswold #8 (nicknamed: FINAL GIBBS), targeting someone in another thread, all remaining launch controlled Griswolds, including the original prototypes, have since been activated and are now seeking multiple targets across the globe. It is not certain who was capable of hacking into the double encrypted files but whomever it may be, the person responsible has also removed the safety interlocks on the number of strikes allowed onto one target.

All offenders make peace with your maker, the "End of Days" series is coming for YOU

Jason

Apparently, just over an hour

I think we will be fine, surely the salt mine doubles as a cookware shelter.

I figured since I would be taken out as collateral damage by the strike on Scoutdad that I would be keeping a full ground active here to protect me from any Fralli incursions. You know how dangerous they are and they should be, like tribbles (to stay on topic), eradicated like all vermin from the Galaxy.

Updated report:

Shawn,
Unfortunately the two MIRVs that are targeting both you and Tony each carry a "Bunker Buster" type-IV warhead in place of two standard warheads. So with the BB opening a hole, you will still get about 8 "whangs" apiece.

BTW - dispersal has commenced... have a nice day :)

FEAR
Be warned, two cruise mini-warheads, from Scoutdad's missile have diverted from original target and are approaching your position rapidly from opposite directions prepare for a double "Whang". Apparently they may have picked up on a stray comm transmission that follows an earlier parameter programming. [Keywords used were: Fralli, Tribbles and eradicated]

one word - DUCK! :)

For a promo picture of this game. I suggest a photo of Mike Curtis in full Origins Klingon Costume sitting at a table playing a prototype of Tribbles vs Klingon with his opponent on the table next to board one or more of those Star Trek Tribble toys with a catchy something across the bottom like a demotivational. Maybe "It's not wise to upset a Tribble, let the Tribble win!" or if Mike has a disruptor he could have it pointed at the Tribble and the poster could say "Cheat at the game once, shame on me, cheat twice now you die." or "Revenge is a game played best with a cold tribble." or "Tribble vs. Klingons, so much fun even bitter enemies can enjoy this game." or "Loser buys lunch!" the list goes on....

We actually want Mike to do a series of videos.

one thing to include in that picture:

Fuzzy Dice, like the ones you see hanging from rear view mirrors in really bad movies == Tribble Dice! :)

If you've seen the Eastwood / Dirty Harry movie, Magnum Force, you saw the pimp mobile and the seat covers made of some kind of long haired fabric.

I can just see it now...a free trader with the bridge decked out with seat covers and all the trappings in long, multi-colored tribble hair. The name of the ship? The Tribblator!

Is this little game any closer to becoming reality?

By Steve Cole (Stevecole) on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 - 12:16 pm: Edit

yes, but the road is longer than we thought.

Getting production quotes from china is a barrel of confusion wrapped in more confusion.

By craig grinnell (Mauler) on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 - 03:47 pm: Edit

China????? Sorry to get on my soap box but....

CHINA?!?!?!?!? You seriously can't find a US company to produce the materials?

I could go on and on but it would give us both headaches.

By Steve Cole (Stevecole) on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 - 05:23 pm: Edit

US companies are far too expensive for something like this.

Everybody here knows my politics and how much that this company HATES the idea, but it is what it is.

Any updates? I am really excited about this game. I think my daughter would really enjoy playing this with me. :)
Also, is there some mechanism for informing your loyal customers when the kickstarter goes live? I would hate to miss it.

By Bill Stec (Billstec2) on Saturday, October 12, 2013 - 06:36 am: Edit

I am starting to mention this game on a couple of forums I frequent, since I saw Steve making comments on forging ahead on this project. You all might want to update the estimated launch date, etc, since it's obviously way past what was listed on the Tribbles VS Klingons web page. :)

By Steve Cole (Stevecole) on Saturday, October 12, 2013 - 07:32 am: Edit

Probably late spring early summer. Kick starter in January plus three months production time. That is a guess.

By Bill Stec (Billstec2) on Saturday, October 12, 2013 - 09:21 am: Edit

Yep, it'd be a miracle if things went smoothly and as expected. But we can hope, right? :)
