Neo-Tholian

The Neo-Tholians are a second group of Tholians to arrive in the Milky Way from their former M81 galaxy. The Neo-Tholians are a military force that followed the civilians of the original Tholian exodus. Physically identical, the term applies primarily to their starships, which are original Tholian M81 galaxy designs armed with web casters (which can throw web tens of thousands of miles, not just lay it behind their ships), particle cannons, and the deadly Web Fist. The Federation called these ships "Neo-Tholians" because they thought they were new ship designs, not 300-year-old ships that had just arrived.
